2018 Main Season
Full Share
Select 10 items weekly for 22 weeks. For example, one item might be any of the following: a large head of lettuce, a quart of tomatoes, a pint of sungold cherry tomatoes, 3-4 eggplant, or 3-4 large bell peppers (the choice of items varies as the season progresses). This share is designed to feed a family of four, or a couple who eat a LOT of veggies. If you plan to "split" this share with a friend, be aware each share has only one account name and ordering takes place under that name. Also be aware that during the season, depending on availability, certain items may be difficult to split into two equal parts.1

A selection of regional artisan cheeses offered every other week by two women-led creameries, Birchrun Hills Farm and Valley Milkhouse.
Bring on the funk with these fermenting femmes!
Every other week, members receive a package of two artisan cheeses totaling approximately 1 lb. The cheesemakers are Valley Milkhouse (Berks County) and Birchrun Hills Farm (Chester County). Both creameries are small batch, family-run operations producing award-winning cheeses beloved by chefs and foodies of the Southeastern PA. Empowered women, friends, devotees to the cause of evolving the American cheese culture. They are encouraged to work together to reach more families with their wholesome, artfully crafted cheeses and continue to develop the quality of U.S. artisan cheese.
Cheese styles will range from fresh cheeses like feta and fromage blanc to soft-ripened cheeses like brie to aged cheeses including tommes, blues and alpine styles. These women-led creameries are proud to produce cheeses with bold flavors and luscious textures that spark conversation at the dinner table. We look forward to expanding our CSA family with these new cheese-makers!
Their cheeses pair beautifully with our apple and bread shares, don't miss this opportunity to have this absolutely incredible cheese! Check out their website for more details.
